Flight Adventure at NAS Pensacola
When your kids need a break from the beach, let them launch their own rocket, build a glider, watch a Blue Angels practice or even experience a flight simulator. The Flight Adventure Deck Summer Camp at the National Naval Aviation Museum located on NAS Pensacola allows them to do just that. These one week camps, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., are running now through August 6. Camp on Wednesdays starts at 8:00 a.m. (Note: there is no camp the week of July 4th). The camp is taught by certified teachers and students will learn the science and math of flight while expanding their knowledge of Naval Aviation history with tours of Museum exhibits and aircraft. Admission is open to children entering 5th and 6th grade and is $165.00 per student, per session. Campers will need to arrange their own transportation and must bring their own lunch. Students will receive a complimentary “Flight Adventure Deck” t-shirt at the conclusion of their camp session. There is a limit of 30 students per session.
