Looking for a unique beach cottage for your beach vacation? We've got it! The Gulf Shack is an adorable 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home that accommodates up to 8 guests. Located just a short five-minute walk from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, this home is sure to please. And...it won't break the bank! The Gulf Shack is tucked away off Veterans Road which boasts not only easy beach access but beautiful natural surroundings. The main level offers a fully equipped kitchen, a nice sized living room area, a full bathroom, and 1 bedroom with a King sized bed. Take the steps up to the sleeping loft where you will find a large open space with a sitting area, 2 Queen sized beds, and a trundle. The interior steps to the loft are pretty steep and narrow so it may not be child friendly (for a small child). The upper loft does also have access to an upper open deck as well as an exterior exit. Enjoy the large sun porch on the main level that offers a great porch swing, a nice sitting area next to the open deck plus a fish cleaning station the best spot to clean your fresh catch of the day! This is a great home for a family or couple(s) on a budget looking to come to stay within walking distance of the beach. (This home has window units for air conditioning and heat).
This property is pet-friendly for dogs 15 lbs. and under. Minimum Age Requirement of 25. This unit rents Saturday to Saturday during prime season

All we needed....
This was our second time staying at this property, and it met all our needs for a home away from home. It is an older home but was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short. The only suggestion I would make is to update the living room furniture to something a little more comfortable. For older people once you sit down it was hard to get up. Functional
You can tell it is a older home however the house was very clean and had plenty of space for 6 of us comfortably. The only negative is only having one shower but we knew that before coming to this property, other than that the property is just as it is listed! I was very happy with the location and space for 4 adults and 2 kids the upstairs was great to have a place where the kids could go and play and adults could talk. Kitchen was easy to use with several people and it was great having a washer and dryer available! I would return to this property.

Peaceful
Our family really enjoyed this house . The location was quiet and peaceful with a short 5 minute walk to the beach. We loved having our 2 little dogs with us. The home was clean and plenty of space for 5 of us. I would return to this property.- Teri B from NC, Posted: 07/31/2022
